Niantic announced today a brand new event that marks the collaboration with The Pokémon Company and Longchamp Paris during Paris Fashion Week. During this event, you’ll find lots of Pokémon dressed in fancy clothes with some new avatar items as well. Of course, this means that some special Pokémon will be joining as well!

From October 2, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. PDT, the Fashion Week event will be live. This event marks the debut of Shiny Kricketot, but there are some other awesome things coming as well:

• Smoochum with a bow from 7km eggs
• Kirlia with a top hat in raids, with Draining Kiss
• Shinx with a top hat in raids
• Croagunk wearing a backwards cap in Snapshots and the wild
• Increased spawns of Mareep, Skitty, Roselia, Kricketot, Croagunk, Blitzle, Cottonee, Minccino, Gothita and others

You can also participate in some “exclusive” Field Research for the event that will most likely give you encounters from the increased spawns listed above. And, to mark the fashion week, there will also be new Avatar items based on fashion designs by Longchamp, some of which will be free.
