As an early-purchase bonus for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you can collect a Manaphy egg! By redeeming a Mystery Gift before the end of February 21, 2022, you will receive the egg.

This egg hatches just like any other, just put it in your party and start walking around. Do note that an internet connection is required to receive the egg, but you do not need Nintendo Switch Online. You will also need to progress about two hours through the game before you can collect a Mystery Gift.

You can also put Manaphy in the Nursery in Solaceon town with a Ditto to get a Phione! It takes about 10 hours of gameplay before you reach Solaceon Town’s Nursery.

No news on whether these eggs are shiny locked or not, but we’ll update this post when we know for sure. Given it’s a distribution, it is likely that they will be shiny locked. Though Phione might be a different story.

These bonuses are on top of the preorder bonus of getting 12 Quick Balls with the digital copy of the games and 200 Poké Balls with the double pack.
